Float Pieces

My way of thanking the veterans was to make a float. The float would be red, white, and blue to represent the flag. There would be two eagles and a flag. There would be also some paper-mache war items such as cannonballs and guns. On the float there will also be varios food items to show all the people who cared for the veterins to donate like soup, bread, doughnuts, and other non-perishable items. The float edges would have clothes from Marines and other stations from the Army. That is how I would demonstrate my thanks to the veterins. By Madison

Every year on Veterans Day, people make floats to honor veterans that passed away and the ones that came back home. My float that I would design would inspire float-makers for many generations to come. I would make, the first float to float. Mine would have a yellow base to show families whose family members passed away in the war that their loved ones who still lives will have a bright future. On top of the float there will be a pathway to show that their loved ones chose the right path. There would be poppies next to the path to represent the Veterans, that lived in the families, who passed away. Now you know why people make floats on Veterans Day and why my float would be awesome!  By Adam

If I ever got to design a float for the Veterans Day parade it would have five simbles of the forces. The colors I would have are red, white, and blue. There would be colomes on the main part of the float with red, white and blue streamers. On the main part there would be vases along the outside with a single flower in them. The reason I would only put one flower in each is because we are independent and the solders who died helped up gain that, as the ones that lived too. On the inside of the float I would put our flag inside of it. The wheels would have red, white, and blue paint on them, and the float would be pulled by a red, white, or blue car. This float would not be enough to show our appreciation to the soiders but hopefully the soiders could tell we care.  By AMB

The way I would help celebrate Veterans Day is with a float. My idea float would be for all the veterans. It proboly would have all the seals on it, also it owuld be the colors of the flag. It will be big, cool, helpful! and it would have seats for the veterans al the the history of veterans. It would be powered by the sun. Also, what it would look like is having chairs for the veterans, little american flags sticking out the side, and a little thanks for freedom sticker for them. There would also be girl scouts, boy scouts, and cubscots walking behind and in front of the float. Why I would have the scouts with the float is because every year we have parades on teh 4th of july an veterans day but I would like to add a float! So that's my idea for a Veterans day float!  By Mr. Chaser
